Product Packaging & Photography for Emergency Automotive Kit

ADD Quality Accessories brought to market a multi-function emergency automotive kit designed for compact convenience and roadside safety. The product combined several life-saving features into one handheld solution—positioned for both consumer and fleet sales. Eric Wheelwright was brought in to capture compelling product photography and design the retail packaging, handling all aspects from concept to print.


Scope of Work

With limited company background and minimal brand infrastructure, Eric focused on positioning the product with clear visual storytelling and high-impact shelf appeal. His work helped elevate the kit’s perceived value and functionality for in-store and online retail environments.


Key Deliverables

  • Captured high-resolution product photography to highlight the compact design and safety features
  • Designed full product packaging including box layout, branding, and instructional graphics
  • Oversaw prepress setup and production for retail-ready print run
  • Positioned the product’s selling points through clean iconography and feature callouts
  • Helped communicate the multi-use value: USB power bank, window breaker, seat belt cutter, flashlight, tire inflator, and jump starter—all in one


This all-in-one roadside safety kit was an ideal solution for drivers, commuters, and travelers—marketed as both a convenience and a lifesaver.

Telling Their Story

Emergency Automotive Kit Product photography

To communicate the multi-functional value of ADD Quality Control’s emergency automotive kit, Eric Wheelwright captured crisp, detailed product photography that emphasized usability and innovation. The hero image featured every core component—air compressor, USB power bank, jumper cables—in a clean, staged environment. This photography was used for eCommerce listings, packaging design, and promotional decks to ensure brand consistency across touchpoints.

Packaging Design & Production

Eric personally designed and wrote copy for the full-color retail packaging for ADD Quality Control’s automotive emergency kit, managing every stage from layout concept to prepress delivery. The design was engineered for clarity and shelf appeal—pairing bold product photography with high-impact icons and benefit-focused headlines that quickly communicate the tool’s key features: USB battery, flashlight, seat belt cutter, window breaker, jumper cables, and tire inflator. A visual breakdown on the back of the box reinforced the product’s utility and value. Eric also managed the full print production process, ensuring quality and brand alignment across all packaging assets.
